Having established itself as one of the largest producers of concrete roof tiles, Pionnier Roofing is proud to announce the launch of a new clay roof tile plant in Kundapura, Karnataka. This expansion has positioned Pionnier Roofing as one of the leading manufacturers of roofing tiles in India.
Our three concrete roof tile plants in Palakkad-Kerala, Kasargod-Keralaand Halkarni-Kolhapur produce approximately 22,000 square feet of various brands of concrete tiles daily, including ETERNA, CREST, SAKURA, ENDURER and their accessories. Meanwhile, our newly acquired clay roof tile plant, Pionnier Terracotta India, produces around 20,000 Marseille Natura Terracotta roof tiles and accessories per day. Together, we now produce an impressive total of 40,000 square feet of roof tiles each day.
We take pride in offering our valued customers high-quality natural roofing materials made from both concrete and clay. Our tiles are designed to be extremely durable, resistant to water, fireand wind damage. We launched our first venture in April 2008, marking a significant milestone as the first Indian company to manufacture high-quality coloured concrete roof tiles and fittings. The unique tile profile was designed by our expert Japanese technical team, incorporating innovative features that set our products apart in the market. Our plant has an impressive manufacturing capacity of 1.2 million tiles per year, strategically positioned to efficiently serve the markets of Tamil Nadu and Kerala, thanks to its logistical proximity.
To align with our vision of enhancing product accessibility, we launched our second venture in Maharashtra, establishing a plant in 2010 that started commercial production in 2011. This facility was developed with the expert technical support of our Japanese consultants, allowing us to introduce an innovative tile profile featuring a Bold Roll design. Since its launch, the Sakura profile has been widely embraced in all the markets where it has been introduced. We have successfully completed numerous large-scale projects using Sakura tiles, particularly in Goa, Maharashtraand Gujarat.
In response to the growing demand for our tiles, management initiated the establishment of a state-of-the-art high-speed extrusion production facility in 2013. This facility incorporates advanced European technology, with the entire production line installed according to European standards and specifications. Capable of producing 4.2 million tiles annually, this high-speed manufacturing unit received ISO 9001 certification in 2015, adhering to all guidelines and process controls set forth by ISO norms.

Pionnier has its own state of the art manufacturing units set up with Japanese technical assistance at Palakkad, Kerala and at Kolhapur, Maharashtra. Now to spread the wings for the national presence we have started our 3rd plant at Kasaragod, Kerala with infused European Extrusion technology. The Company is led by a group of experts with more than two decades experience in this industry.
